David Chamberlain moved from Texas to Nashville in the 1970's. He has written for some of the world's largest publishing companies including Tree International (owned by Sony), world renown Acuff Rose Publishing, and Killen Music. Today, David writes for his own publishing company, Questar.

He has had numerous number one hits recorded over the years and his credits include an ASCAP Song of the Year Award, and a Disney cartoon created for his song, “Am I Blue.”
